It was a great pleasure to have Sir Graeme Avery start the first race at last weekends meet - the man with the initial vision behind the build of the new facility and someone who continues to give so much to HB. Standing beside him David Nancarrow and absent Bruce MacTaggart who have tirelessly put their time and energy voluntarily to make this happen. We are so lucky in our region to have these guys. Also pictured is Keith Bone our head of technical and an amazing contributor to swimming and aquatics in our region.

Now looking forward to a new facility in Gisborne - exciting times
