Hawke’s Bay Poverty Bay Swimming is delighted to see three of our swimmers named as finalists in the Hawke’s Bay Secondary School Sports Awards.

Charlotte McLaren and Brooke Speers have been named finalists in the Female All Rounder category, while Braden Turei is a finalist in the Male All Rounder category.

With a strong and competitive field of finalists across the awards, being recognised in these categories is a fantastic achievement and a credit to their dedication and commitment to sport.

The awards evening will be held on 3 November 2026, when the finalists come together to celebrate the outstanding sporting achievements of secondary school students across Hawke’s Bay.
