It was very exciting to run the HBPB Gisborne Long Course Meet in the new Kiwa Pools. A massive thanks to Trust Tairawhiti for funding pool hire  The new format proved to be a hit with swimmers swimming three rounds for all 50m events, as well as age group finals in the morning for 100 and 200 m events, followed by open aged finals in later sessions. The long distance events were also available as timed finals. We look forward to holding this as an annual event..
