A hugely successful Have A Go Carnival was held at the Hawke's Bay Regional Aquatic Centre yesterday. We absolutely loved seeing 38 new young swimmers giving racing ago and they were amazing!! Lots of smiles, lots of great swimming, getting together with others and finding a love for the water. Special thanks to the venue and Swimming New Zealand for their support . Huge thanks to coach leads Willy Benson and Clair Benson and the Heretaunga Sundevils Swimming helpers that came along - as well as Dave from Napier Aquahawks Swim Club.

Congratulations to major spot prize winner Maria van Tilburg and other spot prize winners. A real highlight for 10 lucky swimmers was to race Olympian Willy Benson over one length - amazing. Willy was also presented with his Have A Go ribbon!!!
